The clients vision was to transfer an existing chalet style bungalow into a vast a well-proportioned family home. This ethos was put into practice by keeping the original front wall and existing foundations and sympathetically integrating ultra-modern style and design.

Kitchen – The kitchen has been specifically selected to blend both contemporary living and traditional country style. The cabinets are pebble grey in colour and include an integrated double eye level oven and kickboard LED lighting. This is fused with the American style fridge freezer, white quartz work surface, bespoke island work surface and integrated dishwasher. This vast space has been completed with floor tiles enabling a soft and well balanced finish between these two styles.

Master bedroom – This large master bedroom has utilised the rooms height and is enhanced by the striking ceiling outline which has been left as an outline of the rooms character. The client had decided the large vaulted feature ceiling paid true testament to his idea. This has enabled the room to be filled with natural light and the Velux skylight windows maximise the rooms potential.

Family bathroom – This bathroom was newly constructed and fitted with bespoke appliances. The contemporary outlook of the house was continued by utilising a Victorian free-standing bath and streamlined chrome heated towel rail. The client has added their own character to the room by featuring a Mediterranean tiled banner and sympathetically incorporating this with the ultra-modern design.
